CONSILIUM
About the project:
Many older people, especially those who have been retired for some years, feel the reduction in their “value” to society, and a fall in their interest and activity level.
Some families lack the resources (time, experience, confidence) to fully support their children.
Consilium will develop new adult training skills and opportunities in the field of Intergenerational Mentoring.
Consilium is the coordination of older people, generally retired, to provide one-to-one mentoring with disadvantages children.
Intergenerational Mentoring can provide a bridge between the needs of the children and the older people, and offer valuable additional support for society as a whole.
